right Goodbye

                                                                           By Sarah Harrhy

I stood rooted the spot
when she told me the news.
I began to feel myself go hot
didn't know what I should do.

We are leaving, one day she said,
about ten miles away.
I cried, I yelled, I bawled, I screamed
but she still refused to stay.

But what about my friends!
what about my school!
what about my teachers!
they'll think I'm a fool!

We were packed up and leaving.
I had to think fast.
I wanted to see Emma, Tasha, Ly's and Craig
but no goodbye's could be saved.

So goodbye I thought
and hello new place.
I smiled at my parents,
my heart filled with haste.

So this is the life
which I'll live from now on.
Cool yourself down,
you've got to be strong.

So I, from then, I live here now,
it really ain't bad.
But when I think of all the good times,
my heart's once more sad.

I'll never forget the magic circle.
I'll never forget the drinks on the bridge.
I'll never forget any of you
cause in my heart I know that's true.

It's so different you ain't all around.
Hedge hopping bin tipping are just not found.
Some don't like me now, I knew that from the start
but there will always be a place for you
deep within my heart.

I didn't forget you guys:
Tasha, Ly's, Emma, Russ, Smithy, Fletch, Mark, Ronnie, Lex ... I could never forget.
I know some of you don't like me anymore, but I wont forget you.
